OUR RESTAURANT
"Here we magnify pork": among the various frescoes in the dining room, this ancient inscription can be read, a true mission for the house. The pursuit of authentic flavors has been pursued since 1896, a unique tradition in the art of pork cooking. The restaurant is currently run by the fourth generation, preserving the cultural and gastronomic richness of the area over the years.
Since 1996, Ristorante Majore in Chiaramonte Gulfi has officially been a member of the Association of Historic Places of Italy. The restaurant has two rooms: the first, the historic room, seating about 20-25 people, which hosted its first patrons for a century; the second, seating 80-90 people, was built about 50 years ago, making it suitable for events such as banquets, receptions, and social gatherings.
